ECOLOGICAL PROJECT ABL-EC03 IN ARGENTINA

This organization gives you the opportunity to participate in environmental volunteer projects in or around Bariloche in Argentina; either in a reforestation project or in a National Park.

This organization gives you the opportunity to participate in environmental volunteer projects in or around Bariloche in Argentina; either in a reforestation project or in a National Park.

• A project that protects the vegetation of the area by doing workshops at schools, participating in reforestation projects or running a greenhouse where information is given to the people visiting it. Volunteers do field work, assist the tourists, classify the seeds, plant them, water and take care of the plants, help with the re-plantation, etc.
• At National Park Lanín, volunteers assist the park rangers and help them with all kinds of tasks. (This project is only possible in the summer season: from November/December until March/April.)

• Intermediate-advanced level of Spanish (for the project in the National Park, a high level of Spanish is required as you will have to write reports)
• Commitment and dedication to the project

The minimum time requested is 4 weeks.

You should have a good level of Spanish in order to partake in these projects. You will be tested on your level of Spanish before starting the project. If necessary, you should take Spanish classes prior to the start of the volunteer project.
