Description:
This volunteer project works to bring food and supplies to those in need in and around the city of Buenos Aires. The headquarters are located in a large warehouse located about 45 minutes outside the main part of the city. Volunteers spend time working in the warehouse organizing all of the food and shipping etc. For those who are looking to do more administrative work or an internship, there are opportunities in marketing, web design, IT, and translating.
Activities:
Volunteers spend time organizing, shipping, and packing up food that is sent to over 400 different sites in the city to feed the homeless and those less fortunate. Volunteers can also help with the delivery of the food as well.
Requirements:
All types of volunteers are welcome at this food bank.
Minimum:
4 weeks.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday both mornings and afternoons.
Spanish:
High beginner. It is recommended to take a Spanish course before starting your volunteer work.
Capacity:
There is no maximum amount of volunteers at this time.
